I watched the "breaking down part II" few days ago with friends and I love it. The part you mention about Bella's father and Jacob was really funny and the fighting scene was very intense. Love that movie, it's very entertain.

I think it only seems like it was short to all who read the books. Only the first movie was understandable without them. My opinion is that they skipped some crucial deatailes which would make you understand the plot.
Something tells me it may not be the end - have you noticed how Aro says that they shall not fight >>today<<?

Ich liebe die Bücher, habe mich dann aber nach spätestens Teil 2 gegen die Filme entschieden - irgendwie passen die Schauspieler nicht zu den Figuren, die ich beim Lesen für mich selber entwickelt habe. Aber die Schauspielerin die Renesmee spielt ist soooooo süss!!!

I watched the movie too. I LOVED IT!!! I thought the fight scene at the end was fantastic!! When it was happening I was so shocked at some of the bits because I didn't remember those parts happening in the book but then it all became clear! It was soooo fantastic.
