My Vegan Recipes

Friday, June 07, 2013

Time for a whole new post. I really love to cook. Which you knew not yet, right? :-)
Yes, I'm a very good cook. Of course, I only cook vegetarian and some vegan.
I'm now vegetarian for almost six years.  Now I want to try to feed me completely vegan.
Here you see two of my favorite vegan recipes. Vegan ground beef, which I always eat on a gluten-free bread, I have an extreme gluten allergy. This allergy is really terrible.
The last recipe is a spicy mexican rice dish. So delicious.
What do you say to my recipes? Are you vegetarian or vegan?
Tell me about your experiences.

  1. I always find it intersting when I see mock vegan meats. I've been a vegetarian my whole life (except for once a phase as a kid eating chicken nuggets!) and vegan for about 2 years, and I always find myself gravitating towards simple foods and away from mock meats, especially because I stay away from soy. But, my boyfriend is not a vegan and so I'm trying to incorporate some mock meats that he might like! I saw the beautiful pictures for your dishes, but are the recipes posted anywhere? I'd love to give them a try!!

  9. They look super delicious and lovely! I'm not vegetarian, but I've been semi-veg for 7 years (not eating red meat). I would LOVE to go veg, but honestly I have no time and no skill to cook and my anemia makes it worse!

  14. Mmmmh, looks very yummy! I am a terrible cook - I even managed to actually burn hard boiled eggs... I let the water vaporize completely. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I seldom eat meat at all - I don't like cooking it and I'm very complicated when it comes to food.
Yikes for the gluten allergy - that is terrible indeed!

  20. This looks amazing my dear, great dishes! <333 I have been a vegetarian for more than 2 years and feel brilliant! I want to give up eggs and milk based products as well which will be seriously difficult since I love both hehe! I also started eating raw (my mum eats excursively raw vegan so she influenced me a lot) - you wouldn't expect it but the dishes are delicious!

Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful weekend! ^^

  31. Hi Vanessa!
What is Vegan ground beef? I mean what are the ingredients. I am semi vegetarian, more like pescatarian. So I would love to cook more vegan and vegetarian recipes. Nice blog.

  32. Omg, that's amazing! I was scrolling up so I didn't see the title yet, and almost felt dissapointed to see a ground beef post (I don't like to see pictures of meat on blogs or instagram or whatever) but it's VEGAN! You're awesome :) Thanks for sharing this. (I'm a vegetarian too, and sometimes vegan, like when I use yoghurt, milk or butter, it's dairy free) xo Manon
